The X-Fools was a X-Files spoof radio series broadcast in the 1990's. It was made up of 3 minute episodes broadcast 5 days a week which were often used as fillers between other shows. Its main characters consisted of Smolder, Sulky, the Voiceover Guy and Assistant Director Skinhead. Other recurring characters include Dancer Man, Ken (the lab assistant), and Sore Throat. I have an idea and I need your help bringing it to fruition. I want to amass an extensive collection of essays on The X-Files written by fans. It will be fun for everyone and a great way for us to say "Thank You" to all of those who have been involved with the production of the show. If you're like me, you could easily write page after page describing all of the things you love about The X-Files. High on my list would be the fact that I can share my passion with an extraordinary group of people known as X-Philes. Individuals from all over the world come together to appreciate this show. We attend conventions and charity events. We type away on chat rooms and message boards. We discuss, we debate, we analyze, we speculate. We write stimulating fan fiction, paint stunning portraits, and create moving music videos. We've spent hours studying characters, memorizing dialogue, and nitpicking story lines. For many of us, The X-Files has never been "just a television show." It's an intricate tale of the human condition. Friendship, passion, fate, trust, hope, integrity, fear, loss, and truth. The X-Files is about all of these things and more. The show engages so many different people on many different levels. These essays can be our chance to tell everyone what the show means to us. My vision for this collection is to create a complete picture of The X-Files from the fan perspective. I want people to see the show through our eyes. I will collect them, organize them, and post them. If we get enough material, I would love to distribute them in hard copy form. The X-Files is like no other show on television. The X-Philes community is like no other fan base. We are intelligent, insightful, and inspired. Let's do something special.

If you’d like to consider it further, it’s also an attempt to finally put down some concrete thoughts that have been whirling in my mind for 14 years about the best show that ever there was. The X-Files is even better the second, third, fourth and fifth time around than it was on its initial run. With that said, I have a few lofty goals in mind: To find things in The X-Files I’ve never found before, see what I’ve never seen, and hopefully find more to enjoy than I ever have. To inspire others to rewatch the show with fresh eyes. To encourage new fans to start watching. To invite discussion between X-Philes! For the past four years The Nursery Files has strove to bring to you all sorts of X-Files baby and kid fics. Each fic archived here has one thing in common: a character within it is a baby, child or teenager. Many of these fics feature Mulder and Scully with children, but Doggett, Reyes, Skinner and other characters have children here too. A few fics include slash pairings as well(any fic listed in blue is a slash one). Some fics include child relatives, or children not related to a character at all. William and Emily have a healthy representation here, but original child characters abound too. Samantha Mulder, Luke Doggett and Matthew Scully make appearances too. There are fics for all tastes, and the genre lists, as well as the Acronyms Key - both linked on the left- should help you find just the sort of fic you crave.

Serenity of X (SoX - pronounced just like "socks") was created because so many times while trying to find screen captures from "The X-Files" episodes we realized that screen capture archives, already on the internet, did not capture specific characters, scenery, etc. The sites we visited seemed too focused on Mulder and Scully - who we love dearly - but we wanted more to chose from than just those two characters (and their head shots). We don't just love "The X-Files" because of two characters, we love ALL the characters that have ever been on the show (well, there are two we could live without: Baby William and Leyla Harrison, but that's it). So out of years of frustration with other screen capture archivists we decided to make this site. This site is basically for us - and those of you who also get frustrated with other screen capture artists - to easily access these images, but if you have found your way here we hope you enjoy the site too. We've put a lot of hard work and time into creating this archive and hope that you appreciate what we have to offer.
