- Most of the Tablets we walk about today cost between 500 and 1.000 US$. A wide apadtion and acception of the new devices class would require less price intensive devices, the author thinks. In my mind, it is obvious to compare the hype of Tablet nowadays to that of smartphones, back then Apple released the first iPhone. Competitiors struggled to put some really competitive devices on the market and could do so later on only with massive price tages. But as time told us, Apple is slightly losing market share in favor of Android. Why? Because Android is now widly appapted and also avaiable on cheaper devices.
