Its a long standing conflict between islamic scholars and many vegetarians. But every one gives his own opinion. Here you will not get any individuals views or opinion. As you have already seen that we have put forth the instructions of Prophet MOHAMMED given in Holy Quran. So the verses given above makes it crystal clear that ISLAM never encourages killing and eating animals. ISLAM is a very compassionate religion which teaches us how love Allah the almighty. It does not subtly tell people not to eat meat. But it makes clear that one should refrain himself from innocent killings. A person with a proper understanding of Islam does not eat meat due to compassion fo others. Also prophet never made it mandatory as some of mundane Islamic philosophers are preaching. After reading the above verses it is up to an individual to decide whether to eat meat and suffer consequences or to take a healthy vegetarian diet and be kind to every living entity........
