Rotation is the appropriated option for mechanical power transmission. Linear guidance enables compact combustion chambers with a good sealability and a high thermodynamic energy conversion. A perfect solution is a well balanced kinematics like “T-Plex-Drive” which includes both advantages. T-Plex-Drive is using the "Archimedes Twin Circle Kinematics" where an inner circle d is rolling in an internal-geared ring D=2d. The result is an oscillating point A (=Archimedes) which controls the twin-piston of the engine. Furthermore conventional reciprocating engines have relatively unfavourable shapes of housing and big dimensions due to its crank gear ("conrod violin"). Also a remedial measure to this problem is the T-Plex-Drive system. This advanced kinematics converts reciprocating in rotary motion (or in reverse) within an extremely small and cylindrical volume. Compared to the conventional crank gear the height of the new kinematics can be reduced about -30 to -45% depending on motor type. Accordingly there is a benefit for the main dimensions of engine. The mass dynamics (inertia forces) are based on sine waves without higher orders and therefore are well controllable (NVH emission). ....................................................................
